You can help editing the docs.
We always need people who check our english or can even write new articles/tutorials etc.
You're also welcome to add your favourite D library to the "Other common libraries and tools" page.
Quick step-by-step guide:
- Register
You can register fairly easy and for free by going to the login page (press the "Log in" button at the top left) - there you can register by entering your email address. You will receive an email with your new passwort.
Now you can log in to the wiki. Additional links will pop up at the top of the page: These will enable you to edit the documentation stylesheet, view the history of each page, change your password and log out. (Note: we strongly recommend you to change your password after your first login. Generated passwords may be guessable - although we really made it hard)
- Read the tutorial
Go to the docwiki tutorial. Read it. You'll learn what tags you can use to make the pages look... err.. more interesting :)
If you want to try it out, edit one of the "playground" pages that you'll find under the docwiki tutorial.
- Read the documentation style guide
If you want to do more than fix typos, you'll have to know when and how to use the docwiki features - we would like to have a similar style on each page and there are also some issues with usability and portability of the docs.
- Start editing!
Things that need to be done are listed on the "Documentation - to do" page. Things that always need to be done are: Fix errors, write new documentation.
If you did some changes, just put your name into the contributors list at the "About this documentation" section. If you did a bit more than just fixing a typo or similar small error, you should also write a changelog entry there. You may use the [online-only] plus [small] tag in the changelog to "chat" :)
